Losing pregnancy weight

Did anyone else struggle to lose their pregnancy weight the second time? With my first baby, four years ago, I started at a lower weight (57kg - I am short) but had dropped to 50kg by the time he was around six months old. That was a little too much weight loss for me but I very quickly put it back on (and more) as soon as I stopped breastfeeding. He was a larger baby 4.5kg. This time around my baby was born a bit smaller 4kg but now at six months postpartum I am stuck at around 63/64 kg and it won’t shift! Wondering if it’s just because my first baby was eating more or if this is common the second time.

I’ve only got the one baby so I can’t really help on the second baby frontline however I have noticed I’m finding it incredibly hard to loose the baby weight. Before I fell pregnant I was a small 14. Always been a curvy girl. Big boobs and big hips and I had lost weight to get to this size and had maintained it for ages. Then I got pregnant and ballooned up to a large 18. I gained just over 25kg and my daughter is almost two and I’m still really struggling to get it off. Maybe speak to a GP to see if they can signpost you to anything to help loose the weight that you want too?

Hi OP, i know its been a few months since you originally posted and wondering how the weight loss has been for you since May. I am in a very similar boat to where you were in May (down to the months post partum and weight) and finding it hard to shift the weight
