Hertfordshire Maternity Hoapitals

Hi everyone

Found out I was pregnant recently, due in January 2025 and need to self refer to a local hospital, but having trouble deciding where! Lister (Stevenage), Princess Alexander (Harlow) and QE2 (Welwyn) are probably my closest, but the CQC rating for all of them is 'requires improvement'. Do any recent Hertfordshire mothers have any experience or advice to share.

I’m in a similar area to you - my nearest being PAH, but the inadequate rating scares me. Did you make a decision or find out anymore information about the hospitals to inform your choice?
