BFP after IVF

Hi everyone,

I’ve recently found out I’m pregnant after our first IVF cycle (very very very lucky as we had terrible odds and both issues with me and my other half 🥹).
I’m now 5+3 weeks pregnant and was hoping to have some company whilst we wait for our first scan (and hopefully to 12 week scan too). I’ve read quite a few amazing threads of people who went through their pregnancies together and it’d be lovely to have people to share the journey with as IVF pregnancies come with much more anxiety than natural pregnancies.
I have my first scan on 6th June when I’ll be exactly 7 weeks. 🤞

Would anyone like to join me in the anxious wait/journey? ☺️

Hiya, it’s me from the April/May IVF thread. Came across this thread you’ve started and thought I’d join you here as not fair to keep talking about our miracle pregnancies on the thread while others are getting BfN.

When is your first scan booked for? And how many weeks are you now?
I am only 3+4 today so super early and trying to manage expectations as I have had two miscarriages this past year.

Hello @AnnieStar12 Oh I know, I feel bad saying anything at the moment! I’m so pleased for you that it worked! The two of us with the smallest number of eggs 🥹 I also started a thread on the infertility forum, I’ll tag you as there’s quite a few people on it now.
How are you feeling today? I’ve felt really down today and some of my symptoms have almost gone (boobs hurt less, I don’t feel as sick as I have done, im not as out of breath as I have been) so I’ve been thinking the worst. Silly as I know there’s more chance of it working than not but the anxiety of no scans for weeks and just relying on two lines on a test isn’t enough to keep my worries at bay!
I’m 6 weeks tomorrow, only one week to go to my scan on the 6th June. Just need to get through the weekend and it’ll feel closer! I guess you can’t book your scan until your OTD? Hope you’re doing ok! I’m so thrilled for you 🥹🥰
