HCG levels showing 3+ on clear blue , 10 days after inconclusive scan!!!

I’m driving myself mad here. 10 days ago I had an inconclusive scan. We had the yolk sack and dates more or less matched up but no fetal pole. I was expecting that in 10 days my hcg levels to decline and that if I did a clear blue I was expecting 2-3 or1-2 . When they came at 3+ I now have a ray of hope but I don’t want to get too excited. What you guys think? Xx

Why did you have the scan?

i don’t know. They don’t offer those in the uk I don’t think? I had the scan for reassurance as I’m 44 having this so I’m kind of expecting things to go wrong. I’m expecting it to be bad news but was just thinking of anyone has got any info to share on this situation. Thank you for the reply xx

I just googled it now ha ha. I’m 6 weeks past my ovulation time: it was about 10 april

When have you got to go back for another scan? That's the only thing that will be able to shed some light on the situation x

Going this Thursday . I’m so nervous. I still feel pregnant but I know that can still be linked to hcg so I can’t go on that. It’s such an awful time. Thank you for replying it’s so much. The thought of going into that room and it being filled with silence I’m not sure I can do it x

So you're 8 weeks pregnant today.

You were scanned ten days ago, at 6 + 4.
And that's when there was an inconclusive outcome.

I'd be cautiously optimistic if I were you. Those early scans don't always show a fetal pole. Sometimes it's earlier than you think, if you ovulated later, or implanted late.

When is your next scan? And have you still got pregnancy symptoms?
