Sickness went at 9 weeks

Hi,
I had three scans early on, the last one at 8w 3. All were good with strong heartbeat but suddenly at 9w 3 my sickness just stopped. I should now be 11w 5 and it’s 8 days before my NHS scan I’m just looking for others who’ve had this and hopefully a positive outcome?
I had a mmc last Nov and this is IVF so I’m really worried.
My boobs are barely sore either.
I am still very tired and napping a lot, thirsty and peeing a lot, got headaches etc. but being on the IVF hormones could cause this too.
I would be so grateful for any reassurance,
Thank you

Your symptoms will disappear as your pregnancy progresses it's totally normal but I know it's very hard not to worry after a loss , I'm 35 weeks and still anxious. My sickness lasted from 6 weeks to 11 weeks and then just disappeared. I read early on that once you have seen a strong heartbeat the chances of a MC go way down so that really helped settle me early on , best of luck x

This was precisely me and I'm now 15 weeks. It's not an IVF pregnancy and I haven't had headaches but otherwise, the symptoms and when they stopped are exactly the same

Fingers tightly wrapped for you! I never got sickness, the sore boobs did stop after week 4-6, and I remember being intensely tired weeks 5-10. Not sure how it works with your local health unit/dr/ midwife - is there someone you might call explaining what you’ve written here? It might be more reassuring to have proper support. Hope it all goes well xxx

Thank you all so much. It’s really good to hear I’m not alone and it doesn’t necessarily mean the worst.
I’ve gone through days of being fine about it thinking positively to having a complete meltdown.
I swear every scan I get PTSD from the one where they told me heartbeat had stopped last year and I’ve been trying to hold out for the NHS one next week.
I wonder if it’s safe to have two scans within a week? Local private place doesn’t have anything until Saturday which would be 6 days between them.
I am so grateful for your support. Hoping I’m as lucky as you all are and it’s just the placenta. Xxx

This was me a few weeks ago! My sickness suddenly disappeared around 9 weeks. I also started to feel less tired and more like myself again. I was very anxious after previous losses so went for a scan, and was very relieved to be told everything was OK.

The sonographer said they could see the placenta was well formed and there was good blood flow from the placenta and that’s probably why my symptoms had eased. I hadn’t realised that the placenta could take over so early.

With scans I think just do what you need to do to get through the pregnancy, you’ll know best whether a scan will reduce your anxiety.

Thank you @TTCbb1, that’s so comforting to hear you’ve had the same too. I’m hoping the same has happened to me. 🩷

I had the worst news today, I had some bleeding so went for a scan and the heart had stopped at 8w4.
I just wanted to thank you for taking your time to message me x

I’m sorry to read your latest. Sending love 💐

Heartbroken for you and sending you love at this awful time. It's a shock nothing can prepare you for. Take the time to rest and grieve and make sure you use your support network - let them take care of you and give yourself time to process it all xx
