I was on the mini pill for several years. Came off the pill 31st dec 2023. Periods started again feb 7 2024 and I started tracking using flo app. We are TTC. Since coming off the pill period has been regular however it’s now 6 days late. My period was due last Thursday on 16th may. My cycle was 35 days long however it’s not cycle day 40.
got a positive ovulation test on 30th April.
did a pregnancy test today and it was negative and I just feel so upset.
my CM Has been different this time. It creamy and I am feeling more wet than normal which is weird for me. Also feel like my sex drive is crazy which again isn’t normal for me like I can’t stop thinking about having sex with my DH and even he said that’s unusual for me even though he’s absolutely loving it.
I have also been having like twinges/dull aches in both of uterus not like period cramps however more stronger on left side and definitely more noticeable on left side. Like a sharp twinge which last a few seconds and then goes and comes back randomly.
i used those cheap dropper tests like the Covid ones and my result was negative today. It wasn’t first early morning sample. I had drank a decent amount of black coffee since 8am and did the test around 12pm.
is it possible to be pregnant and have a negative test at this stage? I am 31 and I was worried about having any hormonal issues so got a private blood test done for hormones and it all came back fine! I did have irregular periods when I was a teenager and I was overweight. I have now lost all that extra weight, eat quite healthy and workout regularly.
please share some positive thoughts as I feel very disheartened
