Help.. pregnancy test

Hi All,

I’m new here! I wanted to get some advice. It is mine and my boyfriends first month of ttc. My period is due this Saturday and I currently have a 24 day cycle.

i have had really sore boobs for the last few days with a horrible watery mouth/ slight nausea feeling. I took a clear blue early test yesterday evening and after read that it should be your first wee of the day (my nerves got the better of me) I know you shouldn’t try to read results after the window but after around 10 minutes I was convinced I could see a line.. it has slowly got darker. Is this a evap/indent line?

i done another test but pink dye this morning as read that lots of blue dye can give negative results. It came back negative but could that be because it wasn’t a sensitive one and I haven’t yet missed my period? Or have I missed my chances for this month?

please be kind, this is my first month and all so new to me. ☺️

That looks like a positive to me

The negative this morning would throw me off, I'd try get another sensitive one and see and keep testing. Red dye ones seem to be better so likes of First Response

Thank you! I know I’m so confused now 😞 not sure if the test I done this morning isn’t sensitive enough and the clear blue last night wasn’t my first wee of the day?

I would say that’s a positive too. Get a clear blue digital

Thank you. I wanted to be one of those people who just wait for their period to show, I have learnt I’m not one of those people 😂 I might grab another test tonight.,

I was convinced I could see a line.. it has slowly got darker. Is this a evap/indent line?

If it developed after the 10 minutes then it’s likely an evap but do re test in a couple of days. 🤞🏻

Yeah I did think this too! Just didn’t know if it was normal for them to show so clearly? Will do or maybe I will try and have some patience to see if my period comes😂 thank you for your reply

Those clear blue tests are renowned for evaporation lines.
The line on that test is very thin. I wouldn't rely on it, sorry.

Yeah I read that a lot after the test. Must give so many other false hope 🤷🏽‍♀️ I just wondered if because it wasn’t my first urine of the day that might be a reason and the test I done this morning was a sensitive one wether I’m still in with a chance ☺️

Yea I used the 5 days before one and it showed negative . Repeated it on day of expected period and it was positive and then confirmed later that day with a digital one

Hi all.. just thought I would update you all and this post should anyone stumble across it in the future.. I was expecting my AF yesterday and had cramping which i was so sure I was coming on.. then I tested and it’s positive! thank you all so much for your advice and help so far! x

It is hard to say. As excruciating as it is, it is best to leave it as long as you can and then test when your period is quite late.

I'm pregnant for the second time currently. I did a test and got an evaporation line 2-3 days before my period. One day after my period was due it was positive. It is worth leaving it a few days and testing again with a pink dye test.

They are tricky though. I think I had a chemical pregnancy in Dec and got an evap line a few days before my period came. I never had a proper positive test and it drove me mad. My period was 15 days late!
