TW: pregnancy/micarriage

I am looking for some advice please. I have been to the hospital for a scan today and to organise my D&C following advice that I had had another MMC to find that they have found a heartbeat and an embryo measuring at 5 and a half weeks.

Going from first day of my last period, I was expecting to be around 9 weeks this week.

5 and a half weeks also takes me back to the exact date of my first positive pregnancy test which is unlikely.

Has anybody had anything similar to this which has had a positive ending? I’m so confused!

Hi OP, I’m assuming they have asked you to go back in two weeks to check progress?

At this point they probably don’t know themselves so will need the repeat scan to check a viable pregnancy.

If the yolk was in proportion to what it should be and heart pulsation regular and in accordance, I expect they will think this is a new pregnancy 💐

Hey, yeah got to go back in 10 days.

I had another private scan a week and a half ago and there was a yolk sack fetal pole and now it's an embryo.

I'm just confused as 5.5 weeks ago is when I had my positive pregnancy test and that is what they are measuring me at. My last period was 20th march!
