Hi all

Does anyone have any pregnancy pillow recommendations? I am 16 weeks and just finding it so hard to get comfy and sleep through. Don't think it helps that it's a lot hotter at night recently.

Expensive, but I love the BBHugme one. Once the baby is born and a bit more sturdy, you can tie it in a circle and sit them in it to play with you (only directly supervised, of course)

Another vote for the bb hug me. Very expensive but I’ve had my monies worth, used as a breastfeeding pillow, as previous poster for aiding sitting position for young baby, I sit up in bed every morning and night using it as a v pillow to drink coffee and read, for upright sleeping when I have a cough and a prop pillow for leg injuries….

Eek £130! However I am sure if it helps sleep well it will be worth every penny!

Maybe Vinted or eBay? The cover is washable.

I didn't get on with any pregnancy pillows (was lucky enough to try different ones from various friends!). I found a normal pillow in between my knees and then tucked under my bump much more comfortable. It saved me a lot of money!

I've got the Bella Moon pillow - still a bit at the pricier end but not quite as expensive as the BBHugme! I've found it really good for helping me to sleep - it's helping to stop me from rolling onto my back and it's definitely been helping with some of the lower back/hip pain I was getting before I started using it. I also like that it can be used for feeding etc. after baby arrives, so I feel like it's easier to justify a higher cost when I'll be able to use it for quite a while.

Bbhugme is the best pregnancy and baby related item I have ever bought. I'm only sorry I didn't splash out for my first pregnancy. Mine actually never gets put away between pregnancies now as it's such an amazing thing to sleep with. It's a lot of money but I promise you won't regret it. Absolutely amazing thing.

BBhugme! I wish I had bought it sooner. My child is now three and I still use it!!

LizzeyBenett · 20/05/2024 15:13

I have the BBHig me and I use it but find it very big and cumbersome I think k regular pillows work just as well and for a fraction of the price. I'm surrounded by pillows at night under my tummy behind my back

I've got the Cushy Puff! It was a real help through going into the third trimester. Really molds well to the body. Wish I had it sooner, also looks great on the bed as well.

Onelifeonly22 · 10/03/2025 17:05

I bought a BBhugme on vinted and am pleased with it! I plan on also using it when baby here as a back / nursing support on the bed. It looks like a bolster so may just keep on bed for that purpose long term. I have just ordered the nursing pillow on Vinted too - I think lots of people just use the one for everything but I thought having in separate rooms easier.

Somehow this old thread has been reinvigorated by MNHQ.

i ended up buying a BBHug Me from FB Marketplace for £20. Washed the cover and it was fine! I didn’t find it that good for pregnancy sleep, it was always a bit hot. But wow it’s been an essential for night feeds. Baby is 4 months now and I still use it everyday to prop myself up in bed. I also bought an ikea nursing pillow and use that to support baby
