Subchorionic hematoma experiences pls?!

Does anyone want to share their bleeding experiences with it... or early pregnancy bleeding in general and the flow/consistency of it?

Or if your experience can relate to mine please share.

I had bleeding at 4 weeks. I am waiting on insuarance to be approved so cannot see a doctor but have something set at 8 ish weeks (hopefully kicks in by then)

It started with discharge from 5 dpo to the 14-15dpo around the 4week mark. There was little streaks of blood on the first day, and then spotting. And then dark brown blood. And then hours of nothing at all. And then the next day a few bouts of heavy dark red blood, followed by hours of nothing. Then spotting, brown. Just over and over for 2.5 days. Then I had very faint pink when wiping for two more days. That ended about 5 days ago, and now I'm having blobs of discharge again. I have breast pain and emotional as can be.

The reason I think subchorionic hematoma is I was told I may bleed because my doctor saw a small one on an ultrasound 5 years ago with my first baby. We are in a very rural area and my husband is out of town with our car, I ordered more pregnancy tests but they do take quite a while to reach us.

This sounds very similar to mine. I didn’t have any bright red blood this time but I started taking cyclogest / progesterone pessaries a few days after my positive test after MMC last year. I had an early scan at 7 weeks and sure enough this showed SCH… had my 12 week scan yesterday and it now seems to have disappeared.

i also had a SCH in my first pregnancy with spotting early on followed by bright red bleed at 11 weeks and another at 14 weeks - terrified me both times but I had a healthy pregnancy and now have a 2.5 year old.

Can you contact your GP and request cyclogest? It’s such a worrying time so I hope you get some answers soon and can find some healthy distractions in the meantime

I had a large SCH with my DD. I had a massive spontaneous bleed at around 5-6 weeks - was sitting in a work meeting online and soaked through my knickers and trousers. I’d had fertility treatment so had an anxious 24hr wait until I was scanned at fertility clinic who were able to confirm baby was alive (I thought I’d had a misscarriage) and that I had a large SCH. The bleeding stopped after a couple of days, I had a follow up scan 1 week later for reassurance and confirmed it wasn’t growing or anything, and the SCH wasn’t visible by 12 week scan.

I had light bleeding couple of times in first trimester of my current pregnancy but no SCH - source of the bleeding was unknown
