Would a blood test be to early?

Hi i've been feeling nauseous, and totally exhausted, period started 14th March on 27 day cycle, would a blood test be to early?

Why a blood test? Get a regular "wee-on-the-stick" test from the chemist

because nurse i spoke to said as period isn't due till mid-end next week chemist tests wouldn't show up yet, and also when i was pregnant with my first didn't show up till i was 8 weeks so blood test was done then.
