Just been to the loo and on the paper was quite thick bloody mucus. It was abit like a show like last time, but less but I am only 22 weeks (Friday). Normal? Worrying? Do I just leave it? I couldn't see what colour exactly blood as the light bulb has gone and only was going by hall light , wasn't very bright though which is something... Who do I call? The only numbers on my book are delivery suite midwifes... thanks so much in advance, I know it's getting late.

I'd call the delivery suite. But be prepared for them to tell you to go in for an examination-it's really the only way to tell if it was a show-and/or anything to worry about. But don't panic, I had this at 25 weeks and all was fine. Am now 34 weeks, and baby still in there!

Thanks... i'll check again in a min and then probably ring them.

Lomond · 05/04/2008 10:17

How are you LadyOfWaffle? Did you get to see someone?

LadyOfWaffle · 05/04/2008 11:24

Eventually - delivery suite was super busy. Took blood pressure and listened to heartbeat, then said I could wait for a doctor, but it was at least 2 hour wait and she said they would likely say the same as her - check out for more bleeding and/or stomach pains. Not sure how bad stomach pains they mean, I have a tummy achey pain but nothing major...

If it gets worse or you are concerned don't hesitate to call them again.

Did you have enthousiastic sex in the previosu 24h by any chance?
This might explain that

Stay on the lookout. Anymore bleeding should be investigated.
