Strongish/obvious line at 8dpo - reasons for high hcg?!

I am certain of conception/ovulation date as we only did our business once!
8dpo today, took a test this morning and nearly fell over with surprise! What would cause relatively high HCG to be detected this early on? The multiples thing is a myth, right?
I'm a bit panicky/anxious as it is with the confirmed pregnancy news, but somehow the line has made me panic even more and I don't even bloody know why!
Someone tell me it doesn't mean anything, that it's happened to them and to calm down! Grin

I had a very strong line at 10DPO so I think would have had a good line at 9DPO at least. This was 6 days before period due. I was tracking so I am fairly sure of ovulation date.

I also went straight to 2-3 on a digital and I also thought the same but there was only one baby in there x

The one person I knew this happened to was having twins 🫣

@ImOddsAndEnds hcg levels vary MASSIVELY you must just be someone who just has a higher hcg. My bloody hcg was high with DD and definitely only 1 baby

I had a very strong HCG line, just the one baby. Everyone is different!

Eek exciting, congratulations! I had a doctor tell me that if you take a test before 14dpo it can be a false positive because your body produces the pregnancy hormone whether your pregnant or not. I think she told me a load of rubbish! I would definitely say you're pregnant!
