2 Chemical Pregnancies within the past 2 months - TWW starts now

Hi Ladies,

I've experienced 2 chemical pregnancies within the past 2 months :

💔20th March 2024 - 4 weeks and 2 days
💔26th April 2024 - 5 weeks and 3 days

I have managed to speak with my GP and he is allowing me to have a blood test next Tues (21st May) and he is also allowing me to have a pelvic ultrasound. I'm just waiting to receive a letter in the post from the hospital. My GP wants to run the tests to see if anything shows up and just in case I experience a 3rd chemical pregnancy. If it happens again , I will be referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic. He is trying to be proactive. He seems to think I'll be OK this cycle as the "ODDS" state after 2 losses you go on to have a successful pregnancy - 3rd time lucky?

My TWW starts now .... feeling anxious for this cycle. AF is due 24th May. Wish me luck 🍀✨

Good luck OP! I was in your situation last autumn/winter, i had a chemical followed straight away by an early loss at 6 weeks.

I'm now 13 weeks pregnant and all is looking good on my scan so don't lose hope. Focus on keeping yourself healthy is all you can do. Hope the next 10 days fly by!

Update .... My little rainbow baby arrived on 12th Feb , she is now 10 weeks old. I feel so blessed xx
