Is Rhubarb safe to eat pregnant?

This is possibly a stupid question but is rhubarb safe to eat pregnant?

I've seen different advice!

For example a rhubarb flapjack or cake?

I've never heard that it isn't. Not sure what help that is to you but I would eat it 🤣

rhubarb cake is fine

there are very very few foods pregnant women shouldn't have.

Out of interest, where have you seen advice that you shouldn't eat rhubarb?!

I have 2 pregnancy diet apps that said it's a no go and several online sites.

But then several online sites saying okay!

Of course, what are the reasons it wouldn’t be?

I mean... The leaves are poisonous when raw. To anybody! Is that where it comes from maybe? I grow a lot of rhubarb, never heard not to eat it when pregnant!
