HCG not doubling but heartbeat found - success stories?

Hi everyone, just looking for some advice or similar experiences. My HCG was rising well but then when it hit 2821 IU/L it stopped doubling. I went in for an early ultrasound scan and it dated me 5 weeks 3 days when I thought I was 6 weeks, and the scan showed a 96bpm fetal heartbeat which is a bit on the lower side though. No bleeding, no big pains etc. I didn't have a progesterone deficiency but my fertility doctor put me on progesterone pessaries anyway just in case.

In the last 18 months, I have had 1 ectopic pregnancy and 3 chemical miscarriages before this pregnancy and done all the fertility tests (same with my husband) and the fertility docs cannot find anything wrong with us...Should I still have hope even though my HCG is not increasing as it should??

My HCG tracking is:
17/04 = 6 (9DPO)
19/04 = 29 (11DPO)
21/04 = 90 (13 DPO)
24/04 = 213 (16DPO)
26/04 = 744 and progesterone 85
29/04 = 2821
3/05 = 4008
6/05 = 4100
9/05 = 5155

As you can see from 29/04 onwards the numbers slow down and stop doubling :( I don't know what to think...there was a heartbeat but maybe this is not it for us unfortunately? Hopefully I posted this in the right forum group. Apologies if not. Any advice or stories will be helpful! I'm devastated and having so many pregnancy losses with no explanation as to why this is happening to us, it's so stressful and heart breaking :(

Hi lovely, so sorry to hear about your previous losses. Its great you seen a heartbeat, at 5ish weeks, it may have just started to beat and will get faster.

Also, I read online somewhere that between 1200 and 6000 it can take 72hrs+ to double then slower beyond that x

Update: Unfortunately, our baby's heart stopped around 8.5 weeks, missed miscarriage and found out at 9 week ultrasound scan. I had a D&C and now not sure what to do next. Maybe IVF with PGT?? :(
