Hi everyone
I’m currently 12+6 after a late loss last year.
My loss was actually put down to being a clotting issue but I was aware the fact I had LLETZ in 2011 would mean I’d have extra checks this time and have been referred to a clinic.
I had a midwife appointment today and I’m very worried. She told me they took 17mm which I know is more than ideal. But she also said they did a cone biopsy which has really upset me. I had no idea they had done this!
Now I’m researching I’m wondering if she’s gotten confused. They don’t do LLETZ and a cone biopsy at the same time right?
I did have a general aneasthetic but I was always under the impression it’s because I was so nervous and couldn’t remain still.
thanks in advance
