Gender scan

This is my gender scan from 16+4 but i'm not convinced it's right? it looks so different from all other boy scans i've seen? any ideas x

It isn't.
There are only two sexes.

If the person says it a bot - it's a boy.

Very rare for them to make a mistake; if not sure, they'll say they can't tell yet.

And only two genders as well

Gender is a social construct.

I can definitely see boy parts there, op!

Remember they are not basing it solely on that one still frame. They have looked at the baby from multiple angles and seen it in motion over time. The picture just gives a general idea of what they saw.

@TheShellBeach so why when you book a private scan is it called a " Gender Scan " not a " Sex scan " ? There are two genders, male and female. And the gender of that baby is male.

Because some people are squeamish about the word sex, as it also refers to the act of sexual intercourse.

I still think it’s weird people don’t think it’s odd to put a close up photo of their baby’s genitals on the internet.

you wouldn’t do it after birth, so why before?
