Potty shot 16 weeks

Hi, I had a gender scan at 16 weeks and they confirmed girl but I’ve just seen a very similar potty shot to mine on a gender page saying boy.
is there anyone on here that can put my mind at ease 🙏

I have 5 children, 4 boys and 1 girl and this potty shot looks nothing like my daughters and everything like my boys. How sure was the sonographer? Perhaps the photo blurred the image slightly!

Heyyy, we didn’t find out with the sonographer because we had a gender reveal that day. She took a while to get baby in to position because they were being very active and moving. We took a break from looking and got more pictures of baby. She then went to do potty shot again and instantly announced “got it”. Obviously we didn’t get to see the shot until after the reveal as it was in a sealed envelope xx

Can you post a pic of the whole baby op? I’m pretty good at guessing the sex but that’s not what I look at

It’s fine op. I wish there was a rule that banned people who want to take the piss on what’s meant to be a support forum. There could literally be a life or death situation and the thread will be derailed and the op torn apart as they dared use the terms hubby or bubs.
As for the scan pics I’m finding it really hard to tell! I’ve gone from first instincts being boy, then changing to girl and then boy again! Presumably you have another scan coming up so please update us :)

Potty shot is well established terminology. Why be so rude?

@Danioyellow and @DragonFly98 I agree, the amount of rude and quite frankly unnecessary comments from some people on this forum who take the piss out of others is sad and pathetic. I've noticed it's usually the same few usernames that pop up though.

I'm definitely not taking the piss, I've had loads of support here and wouldn't want to not pay it forward, I was just genuinely huh! when this thread popped up in active threads. Congrats on your baby op.

I’m struggling to tell too, it does kind of look like a boy though. Maybe wait until the 20 week scan as it’ll be clearer then.

You literally kept coming back and made 3 posts over a span of 15 minutes taking the piss out of the op saying ‘potty shot’. And then wrote another thread trying to back track. Go away and grow up
Op it’s so weird that so many of us are thinking boy after the gender scan said otherwise. I was on the fence and was tempted just to say girl as I felt it must be a girl after the scan. I still really feel ‘boy’ when I look at that picture though

Hi I am thinking girl from your first pic op as it does look like I can see the three lines which they say indicates a girl but I could be totally wrong I am never usually any good at guessing boy or girl from scan pics.

It’s so hard to tell. I’ve been on the fence looking up so many scan pictures to try to compare them!! Yes I’ll have my 20 week scan soon in the hospital and I will update then. When you pay £120 for a private gender scan tho you want it to be clear don’t you 😢. Obviously baby just want wanting to help the sonographer out. I’ll update as soon as I have my scan.

I’m so glad lots of yous are also on the fence. I don’t feel like I’m going insane anymore hahah. I will update the forum after my 20 week hospital scan. Thanks for all the responses
