Am now sat here really worrying about 2nd blood test re ectopic. Ladies that were helpful on earlier thread please can i have your advice?

I hijacked an earlier thread as ive been for 1st blood test re ectopic and got 2nd tomorrow. Cant stop worrying everytime i get a twinge. Can i not just demand a scan instead of wasting time with blood tests? Also what will they do if it is ectopic?

the blood tests are to determine whether your HCG levels are rising, how many weeks are you?

Well last period was feb 22 so i think it makes me 5+5 although i know i ovulated later than day 14 but dont think they take that into account.

Thanks sleepycat i already have one dd so no i am lucky already to have her. Just scared really. Wish i could just know either way. Also i know its silly but scared of having surgery and something going wrong and leaving dd motherless.

if they catch an ep early enogh you can have an injection, but a laproscopy isnt that bad really. its frightening at the time, but not as bad as you would think. everything crossed for you
