Worried

I'm about 6 weeks pregnant and I've woke up today with back pain and low stomach pain (also feel sick) my back pain can be explained as I have two slipped discs but my stomach pain in low and more on the right side, it's bank holiday so can't phone my gp and don't know what to do

Have you tried phoning your local EPU or maternity triage unit? They will be able to advise you about what to do. I know it's worrying but pregnancy often has a lot of aches and pains.. I know I did when I was early pregnant. If you are really worried, you can always pop to A&E and they can assess you?

Hey OP. There should be an emergency contact on your green book for you to contact. Just for a bit of reassurance, I’ve had period pain like cramping etc and back ache all through my pregnancy and I’m 29+5 today x

See what 111 say, but if no bleeding and not too painful, likely normal. I’m 18 weeks and have had all sorts of cramps throughout

They should see you quickly for things like this? Have you been seen yet? As a post said above, try not to panic unless you’ve had blood loss / discharge x

my hcg levels are 16,000 so they don't think it's ectopic, because I haven't had any bleeding they've sent me home and early pregnancy unit will contact me in the next few days for a scan. I do have two slipped disc in my back so I'm not sure if the pain could be that 🙃

Sounds positive news and at least you get a scan to stop the worry. This is my first baby and I’ve had such a rough pregnancy my anxiety is at it’s worst so I know how worrying anything can be. Glad all seems ok x
