Morning!

first baby, heard there are a few different apps and such you can sign up for to get freebies/discounts on baby items, does anyone know any? I cant find an up to date thread on here!
so far joined the boots parenting club (dont actually know what that does but lets see!) and I've had a john lewis appointment which gives you a discount if you spend with them over a certain amount.

Mammas and Pappas used to have an event. There was money off if you spent over a certain amount and we had a free gift on the day which was a baby grow, blanket and baby toy which was nice x

Download the Emma’s Diary app and they give you a voucher to collect up to 3 bags of freebies from Boots or Sainsburys. All small size or travel size bits and some vouchers for money off etc but helpful for some!

God no, you're giving your data away in return for about £2 worth of overpackaged plastic crap you don't need.

The marketers know you'll buy a lot over coming years, if they get you now then they'll rinse it in.

Buy second hand or make a well-researched, logical purchasing decision - don't just go with whatever crap the brands throw at you.

Look on HUKD for deals, freebies and voucher codes.

You don't actually need the app for this; you can get a code from their website.

In mine I got some baby toothpaste, which lasted my son until he outgrew that age group! They also give you loads of lotions for stretch marks, and usually a pack of nappies (Pampers, if I recall correctly)

The Emma's diary ones are really good you get a pack of 22 Pampers in the bump to baby pack. Also lots of money off coupons, sample detergent packs etc. Get other people to sign up aswell and collect for you.

I agree! It all tends to be for expensive unnecessary products anyway like bath wash (just water is better) and washing powders just for babies (non bio and no fabric conditioner is fine).

If you’re on a budget or just being sensible buy second hand except for car seats and cot mattresses.

Absolutely this. Not worth the mountains of spam mail/email you will receive
