is agnus castus safe in pregnancy??

I saw a naturopath yesterday about my acne and he advised agnus. I was taking this before i got pg. He told me to start again but i keep getting mixed answers as to wether its safe or not..

He thinks i have a hormone imbalance (which i think it is now too) and agnus helps this..

Suggest you check with GP. Most these days have access to guidelines on what is safe in pregnancy. Or you could check on the internet. There is bound to be information somewhere. You can get books which cover various herbal medicines and will tell you all side effects and which are safe in pregnancy.

thanks, the internet is where i have had yes AND no. Dont really trust the naturopath as was bit of idiot!

I was taking this while TTC but stopped as soon as I got pg - my bottle of tablets states that it is not suitable while pregnant or breastfeeding

does it make a diff if its a tincure?
