Nightly Nausea

Does anyone else have this... No matter what I do/eat/don't eat/drink I get mounting nausea and heartburn throughout the day.

By 5pm I can barely get off the sofa as I feel so poorly and weak.

I've not actually been sick. Just extremely nauseated and boaky.

Should add... I am 6 weeks, 4th pregnancy.

First two babies I had similar but not so extreme.

3rd was very similar but ended in a late term miscarriage.

Hello xx

I'm 4 weeks pregnant with my 4th. I feel your pain. My sickness comes & goes in waves but I constantly feel very weak. No energy. Headache. Just feel like a slug. I've been in the sofa in my coat all day whilst kids were at school. I'm so annoyed at myself.

My partner doesn't understand. I think he reckons I'm playing on it. Awful isn't it. I find cold fizzy drinks really help. Even though it's not healthy xxxx

I have HG so it's different but in this pregnancy my sickness has been worst in the evenings/night throughout. In my previous two pregnancies the early mornings and the evenings/nights were the worst too. So I think it is common timing.

yes I had that, luckily eased off 12/13 weeks. I tried to eat a healthy lunch as felt better then, and then ate whatever I could manage in the evening. Had crackers by the bed for during the night.

It really is awful... I'm glad it will hopefully pass.

I also suspect I have acid reflux as I have a cold, burny sensation in my chest. I am on omeprazole twice daily from before pregnancy, I would have thought that would have stopped this but apparently not.

I'm 18 weeks and still feel my most nauseous at about 5-6pm. As previous poster said, try to eat big breakfast and lunch to make up for the fact you won't want much if any dinner! And then just snack on whatever is most tolerable. It will ease up eventually.

Thank you all. Glad I'm not out here myself, worrying these symptoms are wrong.

I found yesterday really eating my small meals slowly with lots of sips of water in between lessened the discomfort, but I did end up extremely burpy so maybe I've been suffering more gas like issues. Still wanted to throw my meals up about hour after eating them though.
