Can I catch a fungal infection from dh (tmi)

Sorry not nice I know but dh has a penal fungal infection, the dr has given him some medication but I don't want to catch it.
Would it be safe to use a condom? Or should I avoid sex until it's gone? I'm 17 weeks pregnant.

They've asked him to try some medication and if it doesn't work then they'll look at circumcision. But it's been 4 weeks now.

I would wear a condom definitely.
Thrush can be passed on, so I'm assuming the fungal infection is a similar type of thing and can therefore be passed to you.
I doubt it would be harmful as such, but an itchy vag isn't exactly an exciting experience.

Definitely wear a condom. You're more susceptible to infections when pregnant and having had thrush during pregnancy (also a fungal infection), I would say that you really want to avoid it #myfoofwasonfire
