Currently 6&3 days and have been for an ultrasound privately and they have diagnosed the above. Has anyone had one and can I have some advise on what to expect?
thank you

There is nothing they can do, think if it’s significant they will just monitor it. I had one at 9 weeks, albeit fairly small, by my 12 week scan it was gone and I was told they are not that uncommon to have early on

I had one about 8/9 weeks. I had some light bleeding so went for a private scan and they showed a small SCH. I was advised that its small size meant it was unlikely to cause harm and should be re absorbed into the body in a couple of weeks. Lo and behold no sign at the 12 week scan.

From what I understand it’s issues correlate with its size but I may be wrong

Sometimes you don't get any symptoms, sometimes you may bleed/spot due to the hematoma.

Depending on the size is how much they monitor. Pelvic rest is a must, no lifting, avoid bending, no sex. You come get progesterone as well.

I had one which bled heavily and was very scary at the time (10 weeks) but all was well and baby is now a big strong 4yo x
