When to start testing?

We started trying for a new baby on the 12th April.
We've had some issues in the past in this arena.
When is it worth beginning to use pregnancy tests?
Is there any point right now, or is it way too early to show anything? What's the earliest that a pregnancy test might show positive?
When did you start testing after beginning to try?
Thanks!

Just to clarify, my periods usually start on the last week of the month or the first few days of the month (29th/30th/1st/2nd/3rd of the month)

The day your period is due is the most accurate. You'll do your head in testing before it's due.

Looks like it might be an early positive. TBH I hate those tests and prefer digitals so I would get one again and try Sunday morning. Good luck

That's a positive!

I used those tests too and they were reliable.

Congrats!

That looks like a positive to me! Try again tomorrow, the line should get darker.

Congrats! 💕

That’s a positive if taken within the time frame. I’m in the early testing camp is useful to know. Congratulations

Thanks! Fingers crossed! Hopefully there'll be a more modern and efficient way of finding out quickly in the future! This feels so old-school 😂

I’m sure that person would make a fortune if there was an at home test like a blood glucose machine for HCG!
