Can't eat

I'm currently 14 weeks, going into 15 weeks, and I'm finding it really hard to eat. During the first trimester, I couldn't stop eating, all I wanted were carbs and chocolate, and I gained about 10 lbs in the first 12 weeks because I just ate everything I wanted.

For the last few weeks, it seems like I'm having first-trimester symptoms in the second trimester. I find it hard to stomach any food, the thought of chocolate and crisps makes me feel really sick. I have lost a few pounds. I am craving pineapple and ice lollies, and I can only have a few bites. I make dinner and have a few bites, and then I feel so full and sick. I get terrible heartburn and just feel so nauseous, I just go to bed after putting my daughter to bed and try to sleep the sickness off.

I am really worried that something may be wrong. I had a scan two days ago, and everything was great, the baby was healthy. But what if I keep losing weight? I honestly cannot stomach food. When I spoke to my midwife, she said my weight gain so far is healthy, but she doesn't understand it all got put on so quickly and now I'm losing. I am just worried this will harm my baby, I don't want them to have malnutrition. It's just not as easy as eating. I don't know what to do.

Has anyone else ever experienced this? Is there any advice that may help or anything I can try?

Thank you x

Why don't you ask go for omeprazole for the heartburn that might be contributing to you feeling sick
