Hi I got my positive Tuesday 16th and then this Monday ( 5 weeks pregnant) I woke up to some small amounts of blood (always pink) when I've wiped. It stopped by tea time and then the same happened Tuesday and the same has happened today.
Is it too early to ring the doctors or early pregnancy unit?
Has this happened to anyone else?
Thanks for reading.

Hi are you still testing positive? I think early bleeding can be normal but if your worried won’t do any harm to give your gp/epu a ring for advice ?

Hi @Nbaby yes tests are coming up positive with a strong line still, so I'm holding out hope that all is okay.
Thank you, if it happens again tomorrow I will give the gp a call

Best place to call is EPU, however they wont scan you until you are 6 weeks as that's when you can see a heartbeat. Definitely worth a call though.

My GP wouldn't help at all.

It is very common and and they say unless its red try not to be concerned, its where baby is getting comfy.

Ah I can imagine my GP will be the same to be honest. Il try the EPU, I think I'll wait till Monday when il be 6 weeks as it's very small amounts of pink blood and no pain.
Thank you!

Definitely give EPU a call just for the comfort of medical advice, but bleeding how you've described isn't necessarily a cause for concern. It's always worth checking, but some women bleed in pregnancy and it doesn't mean there's a problem.

I had that with at least 2 of my 3 pregnancies. I did go to the EPAU for the first one, had an internal scan and all good. God the anxiety of those first weeks can be off the chart! But just to reassure you, all was fine, it was put down to implantation bleeding.
I had a big gushing bleed at 13 weeks with my last baby (a few days after 12 week scan, typical) and she was fine even then.
My friend bled basically all the way through her pregnancy and again fine.

Yeah I'll give them a ring to put my mind at rest.
Thank you for your reassuring words!
It's just shocked me as I never had any bleeding in my first pregnancy so I wasn't expecting it, but totally understand it can be a normal part of pregnancy.

Thank you so much for your reassuring words! You're so right, these first few weeks are riddled with anxiety. I never bled in my first pregnancy so it came as a shock when I saw it with this one. Fingers crossed all will be fine il give the EPU a ring to put my mind at rest 😊
