I am due on 22 August. If I need to tell work by the end of the 15th week before the EWC, when do I need to have told work by? I'm confused!

May 9th, I think.

Probably easiest to say by the end of the 25th week of your pregnancy. Which is 15 weeks before ewc.

Around 25 weeks is the latest you could tell them. You may want to tell them before that in case you need time off for appointments or need a risk assessment depending on the type of work you do

There's a great calculator you can find through Google for stuff like this :)

Just be aware that some pay rolls need to have your matb1 form approved 25 weeks before you go off

i had to get my matb1 form at 21 weeks to give it time for the forms to get to payroll , approved and have my forecasts sent back
