I’m overwhelmed by choice and despite still being in the first trimester all the courses seem to be getting full already which is stressful!

It’s our first and we really want to find a good group to hopefully join / become our paid-for friends.

Any recommendations gratefully received.

Also SE London and I did Bump and Baby last year. The actual content is stuff you could find out yourself and mostly focuses on birth and I didn't feel like I took a lot in. You just learn it all by doing when the baby comes along! But I met 2 of my (now) best friends there and its been great having a group to discuss worries and milestones with.

I had a friend who did NCT and she has said similar. I think it's totally dependent on who happens to be in your group and if you gel with them or not. There's no wrong option.

Congrats on your pregnancy :)

Same area also doing bumps and babies starting next month as a few friends recommended. I saw happy parent happy child advertised too but I'd not heard of it so opted for b & b.

I’m in SE too and just booked my place on happy parents happy baby as it was in my area and I liked the vibe and location (a local pub) more than the NCT class. B&B isn’t in my area it was just a choice between them!

Well I’m clearly insane and have just booked both nct and happy parents! My husband can’t do half of nct dates so have hedged our bets across the two courses in two different areas in the hope we’ll make friends!
