Can anyone help!

Hi ,
so here goes not sure if anyone can relate or have any advice.
i had unprotected sex 20 days ago. My period isn’t due for 6 days .
i did a pregnancy test at work (nhs one) as they are supposed to be quite sensitive.
after 5 mins this came up with a positive result.
I then took 2 further tests accu news they were both negative.
im not really sure what to think.
has anyone experienced this before and maybe its just evap line?

Hi thank you, yes they were first morning but it was very diluted I tend to drink lots of water during the night.
im sure im not pregnant with taking 3 and they were negative then just 1 the first one positive I just found it strange .
i am due to start my period next week so might wait for that and see. Thank you again. X

I have mixed feeling on this at the moment. I think I just was confused as to why the first one was positive and wondered if anyone had experienced this before.

I would just wait and test in couple of days again hun x

update.
so I should have started my period on the 23rd still no period. Had the 1 positive test and several negative ones. I’m thinking maybe not pregnant? It’s just really strange how I had the 1 pos (seen In Pics) and then no period but then negative tests.
has anyone ever experienced anything like this? Thank you ☺️

I'd maybe see if your doctor will do a blood test.
That first test is very clearly positive. But the fact you had negatives after is strange. I know clearblue tests will often have evap/dye run lines. But I have no experience of that type of test unfortunately.
6 days before your period is quite early to get a positive normally especially one as clear as that. Plus if you have a normal luteal phase (10-15 days normally) having sex 26 days before your period is unlikely (but not impossible obviously) to result in pregnancy as you probably wouldn't be due to ovulate for 10-15 days after the sex. (I'm going by the 20 days before the test you had sex plus 6 days before your period is due)
If you had a particularly short cycle that month and ovulated early, at at least 15 dpo when you took the test they should all be coming to clear positives.
So it's very unusual. So yeah I'd say ask GP for a blood test.

Hi , Thank you yes I think that’s what I’m going to do as I still have no period . I always have a short cycle so my last period was 22nd March lasted 4 days . It’s just unusual that i had that positive and then no period. If I was ot would only make me 4 weeks I think which is early anyway I know. Other than that it’s just very odd I haven’t started.

Hey, so I’m booked in with the gp tomorrow so hopefully get my bloods done.
still no period and that’s the strange thing.
just with everything else and the positive but then the negatives I’m just not sure what to think. x
