How worried should I be that I lost a little amount of show at 26 weeks - and now I've just lost a bigger amount of brown tinged show at 30 weeks?

It's my third baby - so i feel confident diagnosing it as definitely show, but not the whole thing yet. Several pea sized amounts at 26 weeks, now a tablespoon amount.

Both cases were preceded by a week of braxton hicks/cramping pain which were pretty strong but never regular. In between, had no real pains or discharge to speak of.

At 26 weeks I had a barrage of tests/scans/examinations which declared me to be in full health (nothing open, nothing shortening, nothing infected). Seeing consultant again tomorrow for routine app. Not sure how much to make of the 'same again' happening - pains were milder but discharge was more substantial, and at 30 weeks I feel less alarmed than at 26 weeks.

Does this sound bad? Am I at risk of prem delivery - should I get signed off work etc. Consultant said 'having delivered two babies at term, you have a very low chance of delivering a third prematurely'.

I had been fairly laid back about it - but just searhed the archive, and it seems to have a few too many stories ending with 'and i delivered my baby 6 hours later'!

I lost my plug plus blood at 31 weeks, baby is still in (im 35 weeks now)and he is doing fine!

I also wanted to add, the consultant told me that it would just "re-plug" and that i wasnt really at risk of pre-term labour

harumph - different consultant says to come to hospital if i get the pain+mucous combo again before 34 weeks. She also says my bp is suspect and protein in my urine - so I have to get both checked every 2 days (!) at the clinic. And she won't let me fly. harumph
