i've been feeling exhausted alot over last 4 days, been sick couple of times, and still have the nauseating feeling, and have a bit of heartburn to, i'd be 3 weeks pg on calculation, is it right to get symptoms this early??
Been to GP this morning, and he thinks pregnancy, so will be sending early morning sample on thurs to EMU.

What you think?

I definitely had symptoms by then Can't you do a test now?

TheMuppetMuggle · 31/03/2008 12:44

we don't get paid till thurs and doc said to put sample in on thurs morning and they can test it, as i'm only day 18 into my cycle may not be picked up in testing as yet!

Loonytune do you think that sounds like a + test is coming?

With my my first 3 pregnancies, I knew about 3 days after the egg was fertilised!!! Really! no seriously, I just felt pg. With pg 4 I just didn't know (different cos she is a girl perhaps).

looneytune · 31/03/2008 12:49

Well I had those symptoms the month before I was pregnant and thought I was but was wrong (I had loads of other symptoms too). Then the month later I WAS pregnant.

I would wait until tested because I was CONVINCED I was pg the month before, had terrible metal taste in mouth, bloated tummy, feeling sick, very tired, very weepy, leaky and achy boobs etc. and turned out I wasn't then. What I'm trying to say is that your body can play tricks on you but a pregnancy test can't . Fingers crossed it's what you want

Posted too quick. Meant to add that I've always had very early pregnancy symptoms so it's very possible you are

TheMuppetMuggle · 31/03/2008 12:50

i felt like this 8-10 weeks into my first pregnancy, so thought that was the norm! but 3 weeks pg is abit early to me lol!

most of the symptoms i had from last time are there but just alot earlier this time round.

Thats cool that you just knew after 3 days, i don't even know when i ovulate lol.

Not necessarily. I again had very early symptoms with ds, eating soooo much more than usual was a massive sign and I was very moody/tearful on girly weekend away. My mates pointed at me, laughed amongst them then said 'you're sooooo pregnant' hehe. Did test, was negative. Did again when period was due and was positive.

I think it's so hard to know for sure but fingers crossed the test result is what you're wanting

I've just had two early mcs and both times I had symptoms within a week of fertilisation. I did with Ds2 too. I probably did with DS1 but didn't recognise them as I'd never been pg before.

TheMuppetMuggle · 31/03/2008 18:59

i agree with not noticing with first pregnancy, then i put it down to working to many hrs and going out to much over the weekends lol!!

I know thats not the case this time round, although i work 9-5 but don't have time to go out drinking much at weekends besides doesn't bother me much now.
We have tried to be careful, with withdrawal sorry for TMI but couple of times been bit late!

hmmm
