Congratulations @csectionaaaaaah, baby Jude is beautiful. I remember being on a post natal ward without my baby son too. I'm thinking of you. I remember how hard it felt. Your beautiful Jude will be ok. You will too. Try to rest if you're able although I know it's not always that easy.Flowers

My c section experience was very positive and it was an emergency. The spinal was no bother at all, not painful in the least. They put the catheter in once you are anaesthetised so that was nothing either. I was a little worried about getting it removed but really it was fine. Do try to make sure you get to hold baby asap. I didn’t but I had pre eclampsia and had to be monitored plus my daughter was prem.
I won’t lie, the pain afterwards is difficult especially when you first have to get up and move around. Take all the pain meds you can though, I tried to be too brave about it all! You’ll be encouraged to move around as soon as possible and that really does help. The worst of the pain was gone in 3/4 days and I felt almost completely better after a week.

Congratulations ❤️❤️

Congratulations! Stay on top of those pain meds and walk around as soon as you are allowed. Take it easy - let everyone else look after you while you look after your lovely baby!
