Miscarriage and ovulation

Hi I sadly had an MC on April 2nd. I have stopped bleeding but still had some brown (old) blood two days ago when wiping. Is it possible to ovulate so close to MC? I have had what feels like ovulation pain, and my body temperature has raised. I just didn’t expect to ovulate so close to MC but I do feel like I am.

Yes it's possible! Quite common, I've heard anecdotally.

Okay, thank you!

Please keep an eye on your temperature. Don't mean to scare you but I miscarried and the bleeding died off, then came back light then very heavy with clots, pain and temperature. I had rpoc and infection and had to have d and c. This was 2 weeks or so later. If u were very early on in your pregnancy you most likely are fine though and could be old blood shedding from your womb lining.

i was supposed to be 9 weeks but my baby measured 6 weeks so I guess that would be considered really early. My last scan showed all tissue had gone, but presumably there’s only so much a scan can show. Thank you for advice. I’ll keep an eye on my temp. I feel okay temp wise today but I was worrying about infection yesterday as I felt really nauseous and quite feverish.

Sorry you are going through this. A massive time of sadness, stress and worry. If your scan was clear you should be okay. Pls get yourself checked if your symptoms persist though. Hope you are on the mend soon.

Just out of curiosity how soon did they scan you after your miscarriage? I was never scanned ( until I got ill )and it could have avoided a lot of issues for me as rpoc would have been picked up on earlier .

I had the MC on the 2nd of April and scanned on the 5th. I’m so surprised they didn’t scan you, I thought it would be routine with an MC. That must been awful and not what you need after such a traumatic experience. I hope you’re okay now.

I had a MC end of September and bled for 2 weeks. I then got a positive pregnancy test at the end of October so must have ovulated very quickly after. I'm now 27 weeks pregnant.

Thank you. Yes I thought it would have been routine too.
