Stomach cramps 12 weeks pregnant

I'm 12 weeks tomorrow (2 scans have confirmed 6.5wks and 9wks) and I have cramp in my stomach similar to if you had an upset stomach. Quite dull and achy. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this? The closer I get to my next scan the more worried I seem to be getting. 😣

It's common to get cramps in early pregnancy with everything stretching. When is your scan? Can you go to an early pregnancy unit tomorrow to get checked over?

Yeah I've had cramps and pulling but not really this that I can remember. It's more like the feeling I've eaten something off and have an upset tummy. (Which is hard given I've eaten very plain foods). I will call epu if just still sore in the morning. My scan isn't till Wednesday so nearer 13wks

Do you think it could be because you’re anxious about your scan OP?

I had cramps throughout first trimester, in digestive system and in uterus. All fine at 15 weeks now.

My digestive system was the first thing to go in pregnancy - constipation, bloating, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting. I assumed it was the hormones affecting my guts - like sometimes happens with your period but on steroids.

I'm glad you're okay now, but your stomach and your uterus aren't connected!
