We are TTC'ing, period not due till Tuesday, had a couple of BFN's, surely it would be too early to show by now anyway?

I am too scared to google...

You have a pillow up there???

It looks like a bump to me xx

posieflump · 30/03/2008 13:23

well my tummy looks like that and I'm definitely not pregnant

NatalieJane · 30/03/2008 13:24

LOL I wish I did.

I know it looks like a bump, but it can't be, can it?

BTW, I am not normally very slim, I am a size 12/14, fairly flattish tummy, with a few wobbly bits, nothing like the monsterous pic!

It doesn't look like wobbly bits tho does it??

You don't look big to me. IE you look slim iykwim. Your tummy looks like a pg one to me.

Why not do a pregnancy test and take it from there?

Monkeytrousers · 30/03/2008 13:28

I doubt there is any way that could be a six week pregnancy. But that doesn't mean you aren't pregnant. You need to wait and then do a test. That's the only way you can be sure.

Some peoples belly swells before a period too -

NatalieJane · 30/03/2008 13:33

Did a test this morning, BFN.

I did show similar to this at 6 weeks with DS2, and a little earlier than that with a MC in January. Belly has been like this since Friday before last, well not quite like this, it has grown since then, but Friday before last I woke up and couldn't get my jeans done up. Going from last period, I'd have been just short of 3 weeks pregnant then (Friday before last), which is just too early, surely?

If I am pregnant (big if IMO) I'd only be about 4 weeks now.

twins?

NatalieJane · 30/03/2008 13:34

Meant to say, Monkeytrousers, I don't ever seem to get the bloaty-ness before a period, and even if it was that, this is a little excessive, isn't it?

I already have 2 children, you'd have thought I'd have known what I was doing by now!

Oh, my goodness, that does look like a bump.

Was your last period normal?

aGalChangedHerName · 30/03/2008 13:41

Some women have periods whilst pg i think??

Could you be a lot pg? And just not know it? Do you have any symptoms?

kayzisbroody · 30/03/2008 13:44

My sister got a bfn at 30 weeks pg so you could be pg Nat.

Like aGal says some people have periods while pg.

aGalChangedHerName · 30/03/2008 13:45

I would see GP tomorrow anyway. If not pg then you need to find out what it is yes??

NatalieJane · 30/03/2008 13:57

Last period was normal, well still settling down from MC, so not quite my normal, but more on the heavier side than lighter side.

As for 'symptoms', heavy boobs one a bit tender but no bigger or fuller than normal, weeing loads (could be related to whatever is going on with my belly?), and tiredness. That's it really.

I don't think I am more pregnant than periods would suggest, just out of instinct.

If period doesn't come on Tuesday and I am still getting BFN's I will be going to the GP on Wednesday. It doesn't seem worth going until pregnancy has been ruled out.
OTOH, if I get a BFP I will still go to the docs because I want an early scan after the MC.
