Hey,

I tested today and thought I could see a faint line, picture attached. I left it 10 minutes and it turned off really obvious but thin? I’ve read about evap lines so abit confused. Has anyone else had this issue?
thanks!

I think you should just retest x

bb192 · 11/04/2024 05:54

Home pregnancy tests are really sensitive now days so I feel a positive would be more obvious, but like the comment above I would re test in a few days. ❤️

Lilybooz · 11/04/2024 08:24

I did one this morning as there was two in the pack. I don’t know why I just don’t trust this brand after what I’ve read x

That looks positive!
ive always used clear blue And not had issues but I know what you mean, a lot of people say they’re wrong and to use the pink/red dye ones

Lilybooz · 12/04/2024 07:19

im going to do another test tomorrow xx

Littlepicklepie · 12/04/2024 07:20

If that came up in the time I'd say positive!

Lilybooz · 12/04/2024 11:00

It did, but wasn’t faint and got darker over time

The change isn't relevant as that's just the test drying out, but that def sounds positive ☺️

Lilybooz · 12/04/2024 23:14

Just did a cheap pink dye and negative! So sad 💔

Depends on the sensitivities of tests. Go get a red dye test tomorrow. If you're pregnant, the line should be a bit darker.

I'm quietly confident on your behalf

Twinkletwinklelil · 13/04/2024 02:27

I think you’re best testing in the morning, I can see you’ve tested @ 11pm
try again in the morning to be sure

Lilybooz · 13/04/2024 10:33

Okay, I am still very early if I am! So will try again with morning test. Thank you! 💓💓

I have found Clear blue are really sensitive

CosyGreyLion · 13/04/2024 16:46

I would say that the clear blue is positive. I did the digital ones and they reassured me the most x

Lilybooz · 13/04/2024 16:55

Thank you! I don’t wanna keep testing how long should I wait?

OP posts:
CosyGreyLion · 13/04/2024 16:58

It’s completely up to you. Personally I did a clear blue and it was slightly positive so I went straight to the shop and bought a digital which confirmed and put my mind to rest and I did that in the evening x

Lilybooz · 17/04/2024 18:25

Just did another pink dye. Negative 👎❤️

WaitingforRainbows9 · 17/04/2024 19:05

The cheaper pink dye one might not be as sensitive. The CB looks positive, to me, if it appeared within the time frame. If not, they are notorious for evap lines giving false negatives. For me, First Response Early Response were always the best and most reliable. Gave me a positive at 8 or 9 dpo. You can get them on Amazon prime.

Lilybooz · 17/04/2024 20:13

Did another as it was a two pack and I think I can see a really faint line.. anyone? Thank you! I will order and try that xxx

It depends on the sensitivity of the tests really, some are better than others - how many dpo are ypu?

Olika · 17/04/2024 20:19

Your CB from last week looks like evap as the line was narrow. Cannot see any lines on your newer tests.

Lilybooz · 17/04/2024 20:21

Really cannot see a line. When's your periods due?
