7 weeks…disappearing symptoms and feeling anxious

I’m just looking for some reassurance.
I’m currently 7 + 3 pregnant with my second baby. My first pregnancy ended in a MMC at 9 weeks (absolutely awful experience) but my second I got my little girl who’s just turned 2. I’m currently pregnant again.

My periods were a little funny before (spotting up to a week before etc) but regular enough to be pretty sure on dates.

Thing is, today my symptoms have pretty much disappeared. My boobs had been sore, I’ve been nauseous, tired etc but now these things seem to be easing off. I’ve also had some cramping (not bad, just niggling) and I can’t help but feel something is going wrong. I was going to book a reassurance scan, but after my first experience, I don’t want to do that until 9 weeks as that’s when it went wrong before and I know seeing a heartbeat doesn’t mean things will stay ok. Is this all normal? I can’t remember back to being pregnant with my daughter (I remember being a bag of nerves for 9 months) but not symptoms etc at the start.

Any advice appreciated!

@Mumof12022 Hi! Congratulations! I’m experiencing the same thing. I’m 9.5 weeks and my symptoms suddenly stopped last week. I had nausea, sore boobs, and fatigue which have all totally gone, like yourself.
I had a midwife appointment today and she reassured me that it is quite normal. I had a MC at 10 weeks in my last pregnancy so know how you’re feeling. Sure I’m over thinking things and constantly thinking the worst. My little girl is 19 months and I know I had fairly bad morning sickness and nausea by 8 weeks with her so constantly comparing and expect this pregnancy to be the same.
I think taking each day as it comes and staying positive is the way forward 🤞🏻💕 xx

Hello, Just wanted to say that I am thinking of you both here, and crossing my fingers for you.

Really really hoping that it means you will both have healthy, happy pregnancies, with no troublesome symptoms and that your bodies are just settling into the groove.

Thank you! Congratulations to you too 🙂 it’s such a rollercoaster isn’t it! I know I had no sickness with my daughter (I was very lucky) but the wait is torture! Like you said, one day at a time is all we can do! Xx

Hi @Mumof12022
i know how you feel, been there. Going through those anxieties myself too.
I don’t know whether the symptoms ease off or they come in waves for me atm.

I’m sending you love and good luck ♥️
if you’re worried, I would reach out to a health professional.
Hope it all goes ok for you 🤞🏽 x

Sending positivity your way! It’s just a waiting game isn’t it. From what I’ve read losing symptoms, or them fluctuating can be normal so I don’t think midwives or EPU would really be bothered by it at this stage. Might book a scan for 9ish weeks, just for a little bit of reassurance x
