Early days I know, I’m comparing my tests to my last pregnancy which unfortunately ended in a MMC. By 14DPO the test line was a lot darker… does this look ok to you? Really worried about a chemical pregnancy as I had one prior to the MMC. Did your test at 14DPO look like mine?

HCG levels can vary so much from person to person in the early stages, I think it’s just like progression that is important, so as long as it’s getting darker you should be encouraged! You could always ask a GP for a blood hcg test to put your mind at ease?

I got really poor line progression on those test strips.
It worried me too - but I think it's the strips to be honest. When I tested with other brands eg FRER (but this was a few years ago and I think first response are shit now) I got much more impressive lines.

Thank you both, just trying to focus on it progressing more than anything. If it was a chemical, do you think the lines would still be darkening at this stage?

There's nothing wrong with those lines, they look spot on to me 😁

@sarahc336 that’s really reassuring to hear, thank you 🤩

I felt exactly the same as you and it was very stressful. I had a MMC at 6.5 weeks but didn’t find out until 9 weeks and it felt so traumatic. I am now 12 weeks in a new pregnancy and this is what my tests looked like up to 16 dpo so yours look great!

Congratulations @Am34! I had a MMC back in November, I can honestly say it’s the most traumatic thing I’ve been through. My test from today is slightly concerning me though… it’s definitely the same, if not lighter than yesterdays 😬

@LW678 I know it’s really hard but again try not to read too much into just one test - could be due to loads of reasons eg urine just being more diluted etc! I found that my lines were always darker if I took a test in the afternoon rather than in the morning for some reason…

@hopingforapeainapod thank you, trying to remain positive. It’s just so tricky after 2 losses

I'm probably saying what you already know but really pregnancy tests aren't the best tool for showing progression. Cheapie strips are often quite a bit pants at showing what you're looking for and sooner rather than later your HCG levels will reach a point that the test has difficulty reflecting and it'll essentially max out without giving a tasty little dye stealer. Either way though, it's best to compare every other day rather than daily. When you look at 11DPO vs 13 and 13 vs 15 it looks really good. Everything crossed that things go well for you :)

@LW678 It must be so hard, I can’t even imagine - I was such a ball of anxiety at the beginning and I haven’t even been through what you have. I think you’ve just got to be kind to yourself over the next couple of days in these really anxious early stages, but unless your tests get consistently lighter you have every reason to be hopeful!
