I am seriously thinking that I still could be pregnant even though I had short period of 3.5 days and even after doing two clear blue test with neg results. I think they may have been faulty especially because one gave me a faint line the day my af came and the test window lines were not very clear.

I am going to see my gp next week because if I am not then something is def up, I am so tired and people keep commenting on how tired I look and sound. Today I even made a special effort with my hair and makeup and my mother asked if I was tired as soon as she came around.

If I was pregnant then I would be almost 6 weeks. The symptoms I have are tiredness, dizzy spells and extreme mood swings.

My period normally last 6 days, 4 days are always heavy with two nights pads at night. Last period was 3.5 days, light at night and one day I did not even have to change pad but did for hygiene reasons.

I am going to go to my gp on Monday and tell him about my symptoms and that I had a rare light period - do you think they will give me a blood test to see if I am? I need to know why I am feeling like this. The last week I have been getting so stressed over the smallest things and even cried because my printer was printing slow - that is not right and not like me. I never cry!

I don't want to just buy another test because I have read on here about people who kept getting neg results until 2-3 months pregnant or until they had blood test.

Have any of you had a blood test to find out if you are pregnant, how did you get your go to do it? I am sure he will tell me to just go buy a test.

Hello, just wanted to say that I feel like I am in the same boat as you. I've done 3 positive tests over the last week followed by 2 negative tests. I desperately want there to be a fault with the 2 negative tests but I think the only thing I can do is wait...

hello

llareggub - three pos and two neg? that must be very confusing for you. i just had one faint line and one neg. were they clear blue tests?
mine were both clear blue but not digital. i dont want to buy a digital now after hearing they are not as sensitive.

i guess the hormone they detect are different each time with first pregnancy the line was so bold, with second i tested neg the day b4 I was due and on the day i was due it was so fine but because i had no more I just took it i was pregnant and i was.

hanaflower - whats a poas option... being thick?

Two of the tests were Clear Blue. One was positive followed by a negative. They were an hour apart. The tests I did this morning were Sainsburys early response tests.

It is hard, isn't it?

POAS = pee on a stick

It's killing me and I guess I will find out eventually but each hour I feel.

Plus what if I get another light period, I will just think the same for another four weeks and I have to find out why I am feeling so tired, dizzy and moody. This is not good for my dd's, I am not my usually bubbly self, have no energy for playing and telling them off way to easily which I hate myself for.

llaregub - what are you going to do?

As hard as it is I am going to wait and see what happens. My DH keeps telling me to be positive and one thing that is positive is that this was a natural pregnancy that I never thought would happen to me. I can only wait really but there is a private clinic near me that will do a private blood test. I might do that and see what comes out. Or wait and week and then test.

Well fingers crossed for you x

I am going to see my gp tomorrow.
