Pre eclampsia without blood test?

Hi this is my 5th pregnancy never had this before. Been having black spots and sparkles in my eyes for a week now and sparkles, blood pressure up and down and wee had protein in it.
They suggested it may be pre eclampsia but bloods was ok.
Just been for my midwife appt and proteins has increased again and the headache hasn't gone, black spots still there and doesn't go with paracetamol the pain like.
Is this possible I have it? I'm only 29 weeks. Starting to get puffy hands too. Bit scared tbh. Wouldn't bloods show it though?

I’ve had preeclampsia twice, diagnosed due to high blood pressure and protein in urine. There isn’t a definitive blood test for it and although it is characterised by these symptoms, we still don’t know what actually causes it. I was over 38 weeks so was automatically induced each time, however you can get it from 20 weeks and they would monitor your blood pressure and put you on blood pressure medication if necessary.

If your blood pressure has been reading over 140/80 and you have protein in your urine, your midwife should be referring you to the hospital at the very least for blood pressure monitoring and so that a doctor can decide how this will be managed going forward.

I don’t mean to scare you and this is something that can definitely be managed until the birth but it isn’t something to be ignored so I’d be pushing for justification from the midwife if you haven’t been referred to the hospital or else heading to the emergency obstetric unit.

Go to Mac at the hospital to be checked if you haven’t already. If your bp is high (>140/90) they can start bp medication and hopefully control it for a while.

I don’t think it showed in my blood tests to start with, they detected my high bp at 31 weeks by chance (I had gone in for reduced movements). It wasn’t until 33 weeks when they were explaining my blood test levels being too high in x (I can’t remember what she said now). I felt fine though.

We both went downhill within half a day at 35+0 (luckily I was already in the hospital because they were not happy with the blood tests or high bp) and had ds by emcs that evening.

It didn't show in my blood or urine for ages but blood pressure was sky high and I was swelling up and the drs just knew it was there so I was admitted for monitoring. I remember I felt fine and I was really irritated at the time but the drs were right. I'd go back to the hospital if I were you

I went back in as midwife sent me up. Had the trace done movements ok, had protein still in wee. Blood pressure is okay. They don't understand why I have the head aches or black spots/blurred vision. And I'm to go back in for my BP to be taken again Thursday. Really hope I don't have it.

Hey does anyone know what this means? HB 11? Is that my iron? It was 13.2 a week ago.
