im 13+6 with twins (already have a dd4) and I am so anxious! I’ve been feeling poorly which has been comforting but I’m constantly questioning whether I’m still pregnant if ever the symptoms ease.

Theres a lot of pressure on this pregnancy, even more than the first but I really just can’t relax at all…

Does Anyone else feel like this or am I just driving myself crazy?

I can definitely relate! I’m 8 weeks pregnant with my first, but had a MMC end of last year & had a scare with this pregnancy already.
I felt so ill yesterday, but feel more like my normal self today which has me worried!

I was hoping if I get to the 12wk mark that maybe I’ll be less anxious, but I think I will then worry up until the 20wk scan! And then worry up until the baby would arrive!

Sounds normal but remember, there’s nothing you can do apart from staying well, normal precautions etc! You say there’s a lot of pressure, can you do anything to alleviate that?

I’m so sorry to hear about your MMC. Are bodies can be extra cruel sometimes! Good luck this time around!
the sickness thing is funny. Like no one wants to be sick but I actually feel relieved when I am…

Thank you, you’re very right!

it’s just pressures because a family member is pregnant and due around the same time.

Also not only is it an IVF pregnancy, it is literally our last shot.

I realise this is pressure I’m putting on myself, it just makes me extra nervous.

I’m exactly the same. 16 weeks and have had four private scans and the NHS one. For us it feels too good to be true but also our last chance due to our ages so I’m a wreck. Already have a son but this time round I’m so anxious. I find being on mumsnet unhelpful at times too as there’s so many horror stories on here that it raises my anxiety and fear of things going wrong

Congratulations! Sounds like you have a similar. “Last chance” pressure.

four extra scans. Definitely a woman after my own heart! We have one next Saturday but my husband suggested an earlier one too and I was like if I do that I’m not sure if I could stop having them 🙈 but now maybe I should just not worry about that bit.

yesh very true. And sometimes I google something innocent and awful things come up
