Pregnant and my DD is only 5 months

I found out I was pregnant nearly 3 weeks ago.
This was a massive shock as my DD is only just 5 months old.
I already have a DS who is 3.

Thing is I am just not coping very well with it, I have been in pain with cyst trouble, struggling with morning sickness and I am just so tired.
Dh is a help but he doesn't seem to understand why I am not jumping around like him.

If I could just get the 1st trimester over with I am sure I will be back to my oldself.

I am due to go back to work in the summer and I was looking forward to doing that.

Are there any mums on here been in this situation.

Oh and when I have been to the hospital over this cyst thing or when I have had to tell people I am pregnant they seem to take pleasure in the fact this was not planned.

All I get is "So not planned then"
So what if it was'nt strangers should not ask such personal questions.

bump for you x

congratulations!

no advice, never been in this situation. i know you are probably so tired.

f*&% everyone who makes snotty comments . people have no right to be so nosy.

i know its prob such a shock. you will get back to yourself and you'll be used to babying when the child is born, the cot will still be out, the nappies etc.

it'll be tough for a while but they'll all be so close! i bet you will eventually be so glad it happened.

just try and rest. i dont know how possible it is but sleep whenever you can.

you can do this! you can.

I have to say I have a 14 month gap between my middle too and some bits of it were hard but it is fantastic having them so close in age in so many ways and I don't regret it.

congrates
People will always take pleasure in young children close together planned or not.
WE planned dd2 and I got pg with her when dd1 was 3mths old and ds was 2.5yrs.
It is THE best gap and we are discussing no.4 now and dd2 is 14mths

One of my friends got pregnant when her first LO was 5 months old. She said it was tough to start with - she didn't have an easy pregnancy - but now they are 2 and 3 they are so close and its lovely to see them together. The only thing she said was that because of the small age gap people were still excited about the first baby and didn't pay as much attention to the second one, so she makes extra effort to make sure the younger one gets as much attention.

Congratulations!

Congratulations! Just tell everyone it was planned. As you say, it's none of their business. Sooo with you on wanting to get the first trimester over with - as you know, it does get better...

Thanks everyone, I am getting more excited now, just the morning sickness has been terrible, lasting all day I have not been able to think straight.

I am looking forward to the 2 younger ones being close, and I know my ds will love playing the big brother he enjoys that now.

Oh my husband has suggested we get another dog, we already have a big wiemarana thing cant cope with a puppy with my family growing the way it is.
