Empty sac stories

Hey all,
my lmp was 12/02 making me on paper 7 weeks or so however my cycles have been irregular for 4 months I probably conceived either 26/03 or 29/03 I’m more thinking 29/03 because my scans are sortve matching up to that. I had nothing on my scan up until 30/03 where they finally found a gestational sac I had it repeated yesterday and the sac was still empty but according to conceptions date I’m either 5 weeks exactly or 5 weeks 3/4 days? Has anyone had experience of this or want to share their thoughts? I’ve to have my scan repeated in a week and then another week again if nothing shows just so confused as I’m defo rely not as far on to line with period dates even with the 2 weeks included

Hi, I had a similar experience. Went for an early scan at EPU due to reoccurring miscarriage and they said there was an empty sac and I was closer to 5 weeks than the 6+2 I’d dated myself. Went for another scan 6 days later and saw a heartbeat and was dated at 6+5. Went the following week and was dated at 7+4 and strong heartbeat. I was certain of my dates but it was just too soon to see anything. I’m now 9 weeks so hoping everything goes well at my dating scan 🤞🏻
