Just as the title says really...

I am having shooting pains down below and also sore. Even sitting down is sensitive and have light cramps. Does this all seem normal? Had similar with my first baby but not until 38 weeks+

I have text midwife but trying not to worry...

Just to add I only had my son last January so possibly linked to having a pregnancy again so soon?

I think 2nd time round seems a lot harder on your body. Well my experience anyway.

First pregnancy was a breeze I could exercise or go for walks as normal. 34 weeks now and really struggling can barely walk straight after 20 minutes maximum, often get lightning crutch, back ache, pelvis girdle pain, you name it.
12 years between pregnancies though so obviously 12 years older but still only mid 30s, it's really taken me by surprise this time.

I assume you're a lot busier this time and can't always rest with a little one about too.

Thank you this is reassuring! You are right my body is defo not as fresh as the first pregnancy and probably worse by having such close pregnancies and I'm 36 so not a spring chicken 🙈🙈 yes running round after a 14 month old probably also not helping and defo cannot rest and nap like I did with him. Hope you are feeling well and you are getting some rest when you need it!

Thanks ladies I saw midwife today and babies head is already down which didn't happen til about 35 weeks with my first so accounts for the pressure! She also just said it's all normal for second baby so that's good to hear I'll try to relax x
