Large fundal measurements and diabetes test 37 weeks

Sorry for the long winded explanation but, Im 37 weeks and went for a presentation scan today and thankfully seen baby is head down, however the staff member measuring my bump checked it as 40cm, which puts me at 3 weeks ahead and a massive jump from my own midwife's measurements on Friday of 36.5. my own midwife has said each time my measurements are within normal range. Now the measurement this morning has led to me being sent for a diabetes test (previously had a negative result at 28 weeks) and no mention of a growth scan? I know the fundal measurements can be very inaccurate between different staff members but surely a jump so large would trigger a growth scan referral? I've to go for a diabetes test Friday, results won't be back until 38 weeks 3 days, a bit late for much to be done I'd have thought?

Anyone have any similar experience? Previously all checks were fine so now I've gone in to overthinking mode and worried baby will be massive, so close to due date isn't ideal!!

I should have said, they were happy amniotic fluid level was normal today but was told they couldn't do growth checks on the scan today

Last Tuesday I had my bump measured by one member of staff that got 37cm and on Thursday a different member of staff got 34cm! I have a growth scan today but I can't imagine that it really did change that much, I think different staff just get different measurements tbh

@Ttcmumma I hope your scan goes well. Yeah I am trying not to overreact but also don't know why they wouldn't send me for a growth scan because of it 🤷 have called to speak with a community midwife as I feel I didn't ask the right questions earlier, it felt a bit rushed.
