Had spotting after sex, would this make you abstain or not?

I was 5+4 when this happened. It was light pink and lasted 24 hours. Now 6+6 and haven’t been intimate since, but really want to be. We did see a scan and a heartbeat and all looked good at 6 weeks exactly.

Would you have sex again or totally avoid it? I’d hate to cause a loss although the EPU said sex could never cause a loss.

They’re right - sex couldn’t cause a miscarriage. It’s very common to spot after sex. I personally abstained until 12 weeks with this pregnancy but I previously had a miscarriage at 11 weeks so I am quite paranoid. I probably would try again and see if you get spotting

I'd abstain, not worth the risk and worry imo
