Can movement pattern change

I'm 34+6 and have been into hospital for reduced movements 5 times now. I have been aware of my baby's pattern for a while now and the reduced movement episodes have all happened in a two week period. In that time I've had 3 scans and numerous CTGs but everything appears normal every time, baby is measuring along 50th percentile and blood flow/fluid all appear within normal range.

Is it possible for a baby's pattern to change at this stage? In the morning and evening she used to always move loads and then the occasional movements throughout the day, but the past few weeks it seems like her pattern has changed and she sometimes doesn't move at all in the morning, lunch or evening and her movements have been a lot weaker, and during those times I've gone in for monitoring. I don't know what more the hospital can do though.

A few weeks ago one of my urine samples showed I had a UTI so I was prescribed antibiotics, 5 day course of amoxicillin. I was asymptomatic so had no idea I had a UTI, and also had no idea if the antibiotics cleared it. Last week I had a call from my DAU telling me the most recent urine sample showed mixed growth so I needed to repeat a sample, I'm waiting on the results of this. Is it also possible that I have had an untreated UTI for too long and it's somehow affecting the baby in some way?

Yes the movement pattern can change but if you notice a change you're meant to go and get it checked out.

Yeah I have been every single time I’ve noticed a change in pattern or reduction of movement. Every time I go I pass the CTG in like 20 minutes and I’ve had scans all normal. I just hope there isn’t some kind of issue with the baby or my placenta that isn’t being picked up.

But now today I feel like her pattern has changed again.. She has been moving non stop all day which isn’t like her. The last time I went in to get checked out the doctor made me feel like I was silly for going in. She was questioning why I decided to come in again as everything seems normal like always and tried accusing me of being overly anxious and that I probably didn’t need to come in as I had felt her move, but I said to her we’re always told to come in to get checked if we notice a change or reduction in movements!

So I ended up going in for another CTG today as I rang the assessment unit and asked if excessive movements is something to worry about, and they told me to come in as it can sometimes mean something is wrong. Was on the monitor for an hour, baby moved loads but the midwife said it wasn’t excessive so no concerns. Even though I said she has been moving all day long which isn’t normal for her.

I was then told my most recent urine sample still showed mixed growth so I needed antibiotics again. Spoke to the doctor who prescribed me the antibiotics and I asked her about the excessive moving today and she said they’re not really concerned about increased movements just reduced movements. That’s not entirely correct though, is it, everything I’ve read says a change in pattern, not just reduced movements..? But either way there’s nothing else they can do for me for the moment and I’ve been sent back home with the antibiotics and told me if I get reduced movements again to go back in.
